This book really IS great, and you should be reading it.

No game should ever have more than a 10 minute gap between save spots.
At bare minimum (clearly notified!) auto-saves before and after any lengthy sequence.

Its so nice to see so many people excited to learn, well...anything about these two. Oglaf is an institution! Trudy and Doug deserve all the love.

The AirBnB we're staying at has Good Omens, books by Chuck Pahlahniuk, Asterios Polyp, and two volumes of Darwyn Cooke's Parker on the bookshelves. There's also a perfectly placed photo of Bowie, and a turntable with the complete Zeppelin on vinyl. Also an NES mini.

I had already played a bit on desktop, but I finally installed the Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection on my arcade cabinet. It's so great!
Runs great, all the little touches just work. Definitely prefer playing the games on this, but watching the videos on desktop/Steam Deck.

One thing doing interviews for The Comics Journal with older artists has taught me, it's that if you like someone's work, it's important you TELL them.
It's true for any medium, but especially in comics, the motivation isn't financial. When they stop hearing from fans, it's hard to keep going.

Had a bunch of leftover pumpkin puree from last weekend's pie that wouldn't be good for much longer, so I just made some Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookies.
I'm not really into baking cookies, but I get the appeal! So much easier than pie! Whole thing took maybe 30 minutes.
