Love to see this same energy for criminals inside the department, as well. How about a 'reverse onus' clause in the next police contract where officers charged with a felony must argue why receiving their pay while suspended is justified? #LdnOnt

100%. I wager the #SavannahBananas owner met more fans during his visit to Busch Stadium on July 18-19 than BDJr and BDIII have done in years. People can make fun of that all they like, but tell me, who seems to be doing it right? Like the media, the ownership disconnect shows. #StlCards

Story idea for #StlCards media: For one game, ditch the press pass and press box buffet. Sit with the fans. Ask why they are there, how far they traveled, how much they spent (tickets, parking, snacks, etc.). Ask why they don’t go more. Social media has warped your reporting. Ground it in reality.

I randomly met Ted, my childhood hero, whose poster hangs in my office, on the steps of The Hall as he and his family visited. Five people on the street that day during the town's offseason. Later, they were seated next to us at dinner and we chatted over pasta. Don't tell me baseball isn't magic.
