The ad industry has a dirty little secret. Well, actually, it's not little at all.

🌏 💰 Fossil fuels are responsible for 75% of carbon pollution, but less than 1% of global marketing spend.

This is, in large part, pandemic revenge.

As far as these oligarchs are concerned, all science does is tell them stuff they cannot do.

They can't keep spewing carbon.

They can't keep businesses open as usual when millions are dying.

They have concluded that research is the enemy of profit.

It’s good to see this finally gaining traction. Tesla as a whole is a great platform for decarbonization with their solar panels, batteries, and cars (not trucks), that needs new, competent, and attentive leadership.

Remember when Tesla fired all of their supercharger team, and then realized later that was a stupid move since they're a pretty key part of their platform? Then when they tried to rehire the entire team, other charging companies already scooped some of them up? That definitely wasn't foreshadowing.

I’d also love to see the board at Tesla remove him as CEO. He’s not focused on the best interest of the company and is doing years long damage to the brand’s equity; one that will take a lot of time and money to repair.

My mom was a newspaper reporter back in the 80s. An older woman who worked in the newsroom with her had a hole in her throat that she still would stick a cigarette into and smoke out of, despite the fact that smoking caused her to need the hole there. Even she sounded healthier than #RFKJr.
