Signs at Angle Lake don't have the airport symbol

bsky.app/profile/mesm...
Angle Lake station does not have the airport logo on the southbound platform, so I guess the airport is somewhere between SeaTac and Angle Lake stations (which is technically true).

Doing my part for the buses! Let’s fix the L8!!!! @fixthel8.bsky.social
A common excuse we hear for SDOT's refusal to install bus lanes on Denny is that WSDOT could be opposing them. However, @juliareedwa.bsky.social checked, and WSDOT is “unconcerned” about potential impacts to I-5 traffic. The state’s ready to talk bus lanes on Denny, lets get them built!

David Scott (Seattle Subway c4 president) has been advocating for this!

The number of people who don't take transit due to safety concerns is eclipsed by those who do so because of speed or convenience, both of which would be improved by more bus service.

I'd expect this number to drop sharply soon.

Some people I got to cure their ballots over the weekend still haven't had their status updated yet. About half the people I spoke to today had also already cured their ballot but it hadn't been verified yet.

Katie Wilson doesn't own a car and is the founder / executive director for the Transit Rider's Union.

She's made 2 campaign videos calling for bus lanes on Denny Way while Bruce Harrell killed bike safety improvements on Lake Washington Blvd.

Katie is the clear pro-transit and pro-cycling choice.

Amazing to hear that parking is enforced via the app, thanks for that detail!

Will all corrals have the bike and scooter symbols in them? I worry the ones pictured without the symbols seem like they're only street art and not as an intended parking area.

There are just tons of pedestrians overall at this intersection. SDOT's recent Denny traffic study even has pedestrians outnumbering vehicles here.

2025 ridership numbers are even more impressive with a massive bump this summer

The start date is listed as August 2024, not 2025. I'm assuming that it indicates when first system integration testing started anywhere west of South Bellevue but did not include the I-90 bridge until now
