Hi, I'm Jason Lamb.

I work in education/EdTech and live in #HamOnt.

Sometimes you'll find me talking about:

Playing softball or curling. Videogames. Hockey. A caffeine addiction. Squirrels I've befriended. Random happenings of my apparent sitcom life. Byproducts of my inability to sit still.
Running the 5K tomorrow morning.

It's going to feel like -3 and is calling for wet flurries.
Softball teammate posted an invite to a November 5km run in a group chat.

The sick part of my brain is now trying to convince me that going from "topping out at 200m" to "running 5000m just two months shy of 38 years old with no prior training" is doable.

My softball teams from the previous two seasons have become a pseudo-cult, and we merged out group chats back in September.

We just group-bought 25 tickets for when the Sceptres and Torrent visit #HamOnt in January.

Really curious about the move away from Lighthouse (Valve's previous tracking system which used external base stations) and to a headset-based camera system.

Lighthouse tracking was great as it was super accurate and worked with poor lighting.

But setting it up every time was a massive pain.

Just walked over to the #HamOmt Farmer's Market.

Passed a guy out front who was carving a piece of wood into a dagger (?) as he walked.

Anyway, can't wait for the stadium next door to open this month.

The Hamilton Antique Mall (it's very large four-floor building of 200+ antique booths, see link) has a TurboGrafx-16 w/ Keith Courage in Alpha Zones.

And my family had these when I was a kid (dad won it in a radio contest).

And the thing's been there for months.

Sometimes I think I've done ok for myself.

Other times I find out a friend from university, who I directed in a play once a time, testified at the House Standing Committee on Health last week.

When I was a kid I was part of some sort of playground safety video.

And that's my white whale.

Figuring out exactly what the hell that video was and if it was ever published.

For the last 6 months there's been an 80s Chevy Mallard near where I hike/run. It seems to alternate between parking at Rosedale arena and Rosedale park.

I haven't seen anyone near it and I want to know if someone's living in it, someone at the arena owns it, or a local is parking it there.

"From the director of 'Training Day' and 'The Equalizer' trilogy and the writer of 'Gladiator', 'The Last Samurai', and 'Skyfall'...." is such an unexpected combo for a Michael Jackson biopic.
The first teaser for “Michael,” the long-waited Michael Jackson biopic, is out:

Leave for the office shortly after sunrise.

Arrive home shortly after sunset.

Stare in the abyssal darkness for four months.

It's the end of daylight savings.

I know Microsoft thinks vibe working/coding is cool, but I just want to change an empty Word document from portrait to landscape without it freezing, trying to connect to my printer, and then throwing a memory error about a font.
