Star Trek First Contact scene, and if you haven't watched this one you should cancel all plans and view immejietly. (Also has a Mark S from Severance cameo) Ok, it's nighttime and we're close in on 2 dudes, closest is Zefram Cochrane, and just behind him is William T. Riker, famous tromboner. Both are in civilian clothes, Riker a leather jacket, and Zefram in a bomber type coat with the white fluffy wooly stuffing around the collar. Zefram is also wearing a weird black hat that is sort of like a bandana in form and function, but instead of fabric it's bedazzled leather. He's speaking, and looks kind of dumbfounded or stumped. closed caption reads, "You're all....astronauts-on some kind of Star Trek" Happy first contact day 🖖🏼

Calvin and Hobbes Cartoon. The pair is outside walking in what looks like an autumnal landscape. Calvin is wearing a blue jacket over his red-and-black striped t-shirt to make up for the slight drop in temperature. As they're balancing on fallen tree trunks and jumping from rock to rock, he's monologuing: "I don't believe in ethics any more. As far as I'm concerned, the ends justify the means. Get what you can while the getting's good -- that's what I say! Might makes right! The winners write the history books! It's a dog-eat-dog world, so I'll do whatever I have to, and let others argue about whether it's 'right' or not." Hobbes looks in slight puzzlement at his grumpy-looking friend and then pushes him into a puddle of mud. Calvin, fully submerged and unrecognisable screams "Why'd you do that?!?". Hobbes is crouched next to the puddle, eyes closed in confidence, slight smirk on his face, elbows resting on his own knees in slight patronising position and repeats Calvin's own words to him: "you were in my way. Now you're not. The ends justify the means." As Calvin tries to get up and clean himself a bit he mutters "I didn't mean for everyone, you dolt! Just ME!", to the back of a departing Hobbes who sighs "ahh..." from a distance.
