Does anyone have the experience where you feel a bit vague and distracted, so you have a coffee, but still feel vague and distracted just faster and more intensely ?

A Virgin employee at Tullamarine just confronted my cousin in a wheelchair, in front of a packed gate lounge, demonstrated walking 6 steps, three times raised her voice: “so you’re telling me, you can’t walk that far??!! ” Because Virgin failed to get the wheelchair for boarding despite booking.

When men rage, they blow and shoot things up and start wars.

When women rage, we create.

We knit, do embroidery and cross stitch. We create new things ... while we figure out how to fix the broken things.

Behold rage project #1

If we can send a poo kit to every Australian when they turn 45 to protect them from bowel cancer let's send a media education pack to every home when a kid turns 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, and 15 with useful guides for kids and parents on engaging with platforms as they grow.

What's happened to X proves the need for Bluesky. The future company is a possible adversary. We make decisions knowing that we won't always be here or won't always be able to control the company's decisions. It's why we've given you the freedom of exit to go elsewhere w your followers and data.
one of bluesky’s mottos is “the company is a future adversary,” so we have to design this service in a way that preserves user choice & freedom

users should own their data, identity, and relationships on the social internet, and devs should never get locked out of the ecosystems that they build

To be fair, I have noticed this happen on both sides of politics.
This is also the method used by the right to suck people in. Find one small, anonymous social media post and show it to your millions of viewers. Repeat that every day several times a day and, suddenly, the anonymous post represents the entire Dem party and platform.
This is the entire grift in a nutshell: Find a random account with 65 followers, amplify them to a larger audience and say ‘see? This is why you lose elections’.

But the effect of random posts on electoral outcomes is entirely a function of whether they’re amplified and cast as symbolic!
