This guy consistently posts songs with incredible lyrics mere hours after events unfurl. This was a good one.

Musk’s tweeting behaviour mapped.

Notice both the hours and the intensity. It’s clearly an addiction bundled in with spiralling narcissism. Will be interesting to see if there is a crash at some point.

Tim Stanley, in what now appears to be a weekly slot on one or other BBC flagship politics programme, reels off a huge amount of absolute, provable nonsense about immigration.

And he does so completely unchallenged. Enough now. ~AA

I've calculated the numbers from original ONS published stats now. If we exclude international students (as all countries do), the net migration figure for last year is 470,000.

Of whom 376,000 came for work.

Half of the rest were HK and Ukrainians.

That is the non-sensational headline for today.
Secondly, the UK is only major country that counts students as immigrants. It is ABSURD.

International students pay 3-4x in fees what British students pay. Comes to £20K+ a year. It is completely ridiculous we treat them as some sort of scroungers when they are helping keep universities afloat.

I wrote about the way the SEND crisis is quietly unpicking women's lives - destroying careers, dismantling relationships, damaging physical and mental health.

And all this goes on unacknowledged.

This poll about another EU referendum isn't going quite the way the Daily Express thought at the moment.
POLL: Do you agree with Carol Vorderman that there should be a referendum on rejoining the EU?

Here’s a short story about who wins and loses from the status quo of our inheritance tax rules - and about, what you might politely call ‘sub-optimal’ journalism🧵

If anyone wants to use me as a talking head or rent a quote I suggest the following format:
"You were an economist at the BoE?'
"Yes"
"At the same time as Reeves?"
"Yes"
"Can you confirm that she was an economist?"
"Yes"
"How can you be sure?"
"She wrote lots of economics and I read it."
