3. In many countries, politics and the institutionalisation of anti-vax and pro-infection ideologies are actually encouraging this outcome. This is, to the best of my knowledge, unprecedented in human history: Humanity being overtly on the side of the virus, basically.

2. Simultaneously, the immune dysregulation effect of infection will continue to create opportunities for other pathogens to infect, disable, and kill. One of those pathogens might well start the next pandemic.

We are STILL fighting for healthcare workers to be protected by N95s not baggy blues (or only handwashing, ffs).

We are STILL fighting for clean air and at least encouragement of KN95++ in schools & workplaces.

Where have you been? You can't pin that on RFK. The pushback is from IPAC & gov PH!

We don't even need a next time around.

Record flu year after year lately. Preventable suffering and deaths, inc children. IPAC and gov public health learned NOTHING. #FluIsAirborne

If I were paid to do this job, I'd be in the media and on social media every day.
I'd say:
1)get vaccinated for covid and the flu.
2) wear a respirator (N95) mask in crowded indoor spaces like public transit.
3) keep your holiday get-togethers safe by keeping things well ventilated and filtered.
