PS: There are no stupid questions, only the questions you wanted to ask but didn't, due to whatever reason you told yourself. Maybe because you didn't want to come across as clueless, or because you think that people don't have time for you, etc. I have been there. It didn't help. Better ask away!

Japanese has so many words that have a similar meaning, but the slightly different nuance shows exactly how important it is to "read" even subtle differences in meaning in Japanese culture. Interesting, but especially for beginners, a pain in the a** 😆
