Did they post out any voting materials or was it all online? I didn't get any if so and didn't know when it was happening... so that's my lame explanation for not turning out!

I suppose trial results are always '*controlling for context*, we estimate this particular intervention (showing an MRP estimate just before asking VI) has this particular effect'. But if context is unclear and intervention is not 'real world' enough, then the finding is of limited value.

Probably need to also collect pre-survey MRP awareness data too as mediating context. Hmmm... quite complicated when you think about it.

The big unknown (to me!) is just how much MRP estimates actually percolate into the voting population. I think that's something the YG panel is unlikely to estimate well. But I'd still be interested in seeing if it has *any effect when placed in front of a voter before they 'vote'.
