We enjoyed a fabulous 4 day weekend with family gathered in Idaho for the wedding of our dear nephew, Drew, and our new niece, Hailey. Pictures of the happy couple to follow. Soon, I hope!

This. 😊
The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.

yes
I've been thinking about this poem by Langston Hughes recently and although it was published in 1931, it remains relevant as ever.

Choose 20 books that have stayed with you or influenced you. One book per day for 20 days, in no particular order. No explanations, no reviews, just covers.

I couldn't help but laugh 😂
Throwback to the time we sat our cats down and told them we were adopting a dog. I cannot stress enough that this is the ACTUAL picture from that conversation 🤣

Finding new community, comfort food for dinner, and a day off tomorrow. Definitely some small, but positive, progress in my mood of despair.

I loved Twitter, although I came to it late (2021). After Musk bought it, it really changed, and not for better. After having met so many wonderful people, my feed was often clogged with negative, hateful content. Since the election, it feels too much.

Hoping to find here what it enjoyed before X.
