I fell asleep, so I did not hear it (we were waiting 2hrs on the tarmac). But I was honestly surprised that the crew did not announce something like "technical issues" instead... the pilot must have a reputation!

Rather than being singled out as the awful parent that exerts too much control over their children, parents who don't want their kids to spend all the time on social media will be simply following the law. This might work, perhaps?
