On November 21, 2024, between 5:00 and 7:00 AM, Russian forces attacked Dnipro's critical infrastructure with various missiles. Kh-47M2 "Kinzhal" was launched from a MiG-31K in Tambov, seven Kh-101 cruise missiles from near Volgograd, and for the first time, an ICBM was launched from Astrakhan.

I used my last doorstep at the FAC to declare that peace through de-escalation is a failing and failed strategy. We need a new strategy, a winning strategy, a strategy of strength. Then the phonecalls would actually make sense.

The Russo-Ukrainian war started at 4.30 AM on February 27th 2014 when Russian troops took control of the Crimean Parliament building in Simferopol. The invasion of Crimea was followed by the invasion of Donbass in March 2014. The war has been going on ever since.

The full damage of Barack Obama's appeasement policy will take decades to estimate. One thing is clear though, Obama's "reset" with Russia and the appeasement that became Obama's signature foreign policy gave Russia, and others, a free card for aggression, with horrible consequences.
