When I discovered Twin Peaks & Blue Velvet at age 15-16, he became the first director I really admired. Incidentally, my latest BlueRay purchase, just the other week, was Mulholland Drive (Criterion version). Thanks for the work David Lynch.

Interesting, but how do you connect Ethiopian philosophy (the topic of another article) with this article on decolonialization and two philosophers from US and Ghana respectively, in which Ethiopian philosophy is not mentioned?

Deleuze may nail an ideational core in Straub-Huillet’s films (rising & resisting voice resonating with what’s buried in the earth, etc.), but Godard captures their sensory, aesthetic core:
