A lot of skilled artisans, crew, writers, directors & creators etc are left in this limbo all the time & it’s absolutely driving people out of the entertainment industry. Long hiatuses where nobody will make a decision on whether to renew the show are bad. All this is not good on so many levels
And I hate how often the long hiatus between two seasons is because the streamer couldn't decide if they were even interested in the series enough to renew it until they had months of viewing data, so cast/crew are left in the lurch for months at a time and have to ramp up and down.
