Would you cut this? 🌿

A future alive with buzzing hedgerows, singing Skylarks, and rich, healthy soil or one of silent fields, struggling farms, and nature in freefall?

The UK Government has a choice.

A particularly favourite tree of ours as she is slightly out of sync with the other willows here and tends to hum with hungry #bumblebee queens slightly later than the other willows each spring.

2024 biodiversity indicators are in... If a wake-up call was needed to show the UK is failing nature, this is it.

Short-term trends show progress stalling or reversing. 📉🚨

To meet 2030 targets, we need nature-friendly farming, smart planning &investment in nature now

It’s shocking that a nation that claims to have a cost of living crisis is not investing in the cheapest forms of energy: solar and wind.

Why is not even 70% of UK electricity from solar and wind? Why is the UK stuck in expensive energy addiction?

Important context here:

● over half of farms are less than 49 acres (20 hectares)

● "a big farm" is 217 acres.

Now let's see who's angry:

● Clarkson farm is 1,000 acres
● Lloyd Webber farms 4,000 acres
● Viscount Rothermere (Mail owner) 4,700 acres
● Dyson owns 36,000 acres
A message from a REAL farmer who hasn’t been brainwashed by the Tories, wealthy landowners and the right wing media👇🏽
