82% of all Americans say they are satisfied with their existing healthcare coverage. Folks, this is an 80/20 issue and the Republicans are about to rip into it and destroy it. It should destroy their political careers when they do so and we need to ramp up that pressure to make sure it does!

👇 Many Congress members are too old to have children exposed to lockdown drills and shootings. We must vote out anyone unwilling to value our children over our guns.
"Every lockdown drill is a confession of failure. Every barricaded classroom is an indictment. Every child taught to hide is proof that the adults in charge have surrendered."
What Are We Doing to Our Children?
We taught kids to read, write, and dream; then trained them to hide, barricade, and bleed quietly while adults chose guns, cowardice, and silence over their future.

In just a month, 10,000 people in MA dropped their health insurance. That's 2x more than last year.

10,000 mommas, grandpas, aunts, neighbors, and friends who looked at their bill and said "I can't do this."

Because Republicans won’t lift a finger to lower health care costs.

1/2 FDA’s vaccine chief blasted out a memo full of rhetoric and exaggerated claims about pediatric COVID-vax deaths… before the scientists even finished their work.

Actual findings?
0 confirmed pediatric deaths due to COVID vax.

But sure, why wait for data when you can cause panic? 🙃
Scoop: FDA vaccine chief’s memo cited 10 pediatric Covid-19 vaccine deaths—but the agency’s own analysis found 0–7.
Dr. Vinay Prasad circulated a memo before FDA scientists finished their work. His conclusions overshot what the agency’s own analysts ultimately found.

My thread response to @mcuban.bsky.social and his absolutely out of touch attempt to prove #MedicareForAll is a bad idea. If you argue the current health system is better, you better come correct. Or at least have a basic understanding of how insurance works for everyone without an AmEx Black Card.
My guy, you are so out of touch with how insurance works for those of us that don’t have millions of $. We already can’t see a specialist without a referral and even with one, half the time insurance tries to refuse to pay unless the doc jumps through hoops to prove specialist care is necessary.

ICE Melts Under Noem’s Shadow
ICE isn’t just losing support; it’s imploding under its own cruelty, incompetence, and Kristi Noem’s vanishing act, leaving America questioning who the real threat is.

This should be the biggest story in the country right now. The sitting US President was extorting state lawmakers from his own party by threatening to withhold public money if they didn’t gerrymander for him.

I don’t know how else to say it…

it is actually kind of bananas how unitary executive theorists have taken a straightforward clause requiring the president to "faithfully execute the laws" and transformed it into a grant for the exercise of limitless unenumerated power.
The Take Care Clause was a byproduct of the lessons learned from the Glorious Revolution that the executive should not be able to dispense with the law promulgated by the legislature. It was not a constitutional provision to empower the executive branch— but to constrain it!

Hoeg admits that the measles outbreak is primarily among the unvaccinated and that low uptake of MMR vaccine is to blame. She is right.

She then goes on to blame the lack of trust in vaccines for this.

She does not acknowledge that she and her fellow misinformers are the cause of distrust.
