Canadian friends: While posting on the socials is easy & no bad thing, it is, in the main, speaking to your own bubble who likely hold the same views as you when it comes to the need to vote so that Mark Carney remains prime minister.

Why Canadians boycotting US goods is a good thing.
In 2023, value of US exports globally was $2 trillion. Exports to Canada alone amounted to $353 billion, or close to 18% of the total. On the other hand, the value of Canadian exports to USA is 86% of our total, or close to $440 billion.

Distractions when #amediting: Delivery guy comes up driveway carrying large box of dog food. Editorial assistant goes wild barking, delivery guy leaves box at door & walks off, ed ass't reduces level of barking, delivery guy comes back, rings doorbell, pandemonium! Did he think I hadn't noticed?

So touching to go outside and find "I love you" written in pink chalk in the (shared) courtyard/driveway, with a big, long pink arrow going all the way to your front door. The little kids next door are the best! #neighbourhood

Even though I've been saying it for at least six years, it's well worth repeating: I love TextExpander. I saves me so much, and saves me my sanity. And I love the weekly reports telling me how much time I saved in the previous week. #AmEditing #EditorsOfWords #Editors #FreelanceEditors
