Yay! my truck is safetied and fully mine/legal. It feel surreal. I failed my drivers test twice when I was a teen, and had given into the idea I'd never own a car or truck. After I got my bike license I even justified it because of how little gas I was burning. Now I have a sporty 4x4. weird.

I dropped my already broken phone and now it won't charge or connect to my computer, ugh. I have a new phone I was waiting to use once mine became unusable, but I kinda hoped to at least get pictures off it. I might open it up and try and fix the usb port to at least back it up...

I found a storage place for all the overflow from my dad's things I'm keeping. Once that's moved out of here the house will be quite empty. Just Tigger the cat, and a slightly off human, rattling around the place.

I laugh when I see stuff like this. VPNs aren't monolithic things. There's ipsec, many forms of tcp tunneling, there's even some udp options depending on what you're tunneling. If you don't use dns, and tunnel over tcp:443, there's literally no way to detect or block a tunnel. Legislate away, lol

We may make up ~1% of the population, but even a small minority can have an outsized voice. The hard right does it all the time. All we need to do is be much better human beings than the cis average and we will get more respect from the lazy cis majority

I had already decided to replace it with fixed length chains, but I figured it'd be fine fo this one trip, nope. The strap let go, the ramp came down with the bike and me, and I whacked my skull/1
