NHS England has published new principles on the use of digital technologies in mental health inpatient settings.

These principles are vague and unenforceable. They don't halt the rollout of tech like Oxevision, and lack regulatory power.

NSUN responds to NHS England’s new Principles on Digital Technologies
This long-overdue publication is vague and disappointing. The principles do not halt the roll-out of unethical, poorly evidenced and potentially unlawful technologies.

Note the huge outcry over the supposed over-diagnosis of anxiety, depression, ADHD, and autism, yet the complete silence when it comes to labelling increasing numbers of people - hundreds of thousands - with a personality disorder.
