US Citizen detained by ICE: Clearly it didn't matter that I was a citizen, a veteran, or identified who I was. They ignored everything I said. They just broke my window and dragged me out. I let them know I was a veteran, I wasn't doing anything wrong, just trying to get to work.

Americans deserve better than the eight Democratic Senators who voted on a promise, without a guarantee, to protect the Affordable Care Act.

Voters want a Democratic Party that fights back against the forces that have rigged the system and made their lives more difficult.

A party that comforts the afflicted and afflicts the comfortable —not a party that buckles and capitulates.

When will party leadership learn this lesson?

I'm an older attorney. I remember respecting conservative Constitutional scholars - not that I necessarily agreed with them, but for their passionate defense of the Constitution. Where have they gone?

Why don't we just close our borders? Tariffs, deportations, Visa integrity fee - the US clearly doesn't want anyone coming in. Let's see how well isolationism, turning on our allies, and self-sufficiency work.

This is an obvious point, but cannot overstated. There is an enormous difference between deporting someone - where they get off a plane as a free citizen in their home country AND FUNNELING THEM INTO A BRUTAL PRISON FROM WHICH THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF EVER EMERGING!!!

OSHA has repeatedly fined Elon Musk’s companies for serious safety violations. Granting him and his associates access to the agency’s files is an obvious conflict of interest, and would likely discourage workers from filing future complaints.

“He’s unqualified, and I daresay that everybody here knows it.” We need more principled senators like Warnock.
Senator Raphael Warnock ahead of the vote on RFK Jr. for HHS Secretary:

"I simply do not trust him to oversee the CDC. He's unqualified, and I dare say that everybody here knows it."
