When I was stuck indoors, where VLS missiles would hit the roof before they hit anything useful, I would bring “Breacher”, a bipedal heavy mech that specialized in making the opposition go boom. I also used it on the final boss, as I had a hunch he’d be too fast for the sniper rifles to track.

I am resurrecting this thread to add some pictures of my go to mechs. First up is the flying tank, which I named “Headtaker” because it was really good in open battle against other NEXTs. I cleared the arena mode in this. I went with the longest ranged FCS, and that did some good work.

So I beat Armored Core 4 today(on Normal) and I like it. I’ve even redone some of the missions to get a higher grade and I completed the arena mode before the final boss. I might play more of it, and I am looking forward to eventually playing AC6.

So I've been working on more Battlefleet Gothic fleets, as I have been inspired by the fan made rule books that compiled all the rules. My hope is that I can make collections of paper boats that I can go and print later. I realize I could get this fleet to exactly 1500 points if I upgrade the Lunar.

So with a little work from Photopea, I was able to effectively paint the escorts the base color I wanted. I might go back and by the same process paint the line ships up like the escorts, then add streaks of gold and black if I'm feeling adventurous.

The community starter kit features 3D printing files, so I don’t need to make stuff like the below but I felt *inspired* enough to.

The funny thing is both my wife and I do both. I’ve been assembling Sister of Battle minis while she’s been working on an Elesh Norn deck and really loving the phyrexian aesthetic, but at the same time we are both enjoying the Bloomburrow set, aka MtG makes its own Redwall.

If I am ever given dictatorial powers (In the hypothetical scenario where I can’t immediately revert to democracy, which is clearly the superior option) I am commissioning a series of video game focused video essays so boomers like Geraldo Rivera can stop embarrassing themselves publicly.
