Yesterday at Dunkirk I met many people who’d just arrived. Freezing conditions. People who arrived later in the afternoon, ill prepared for the awful conditions missed access to food and shelter. Bewildered as the reality that they’d spend the night outside sank in. Inhumanity. #refugees #saferoutes

Today #Dunkirk we kitted out a small 16 year old boy from Iraq with a warm coat, a hat, gloves, a neck warmer a pair of pants and a pair of socks. We’d found him shivering uncontrollably in a thin cotton jacket. I choose welcome & love #saferoutes
