Stark contrast to shocking statistics on % facing hunger whilst on those benefits:
- State pension: 3%

Last night, Al-Helou hospital in #Gaza City, supported by MSF, sustained severe collateral damage from nearby attacks. This came despite multiple assurances from Israeli forces that the hospital was not in danger.

Right now, Donald Trump is at a lavish banquet at Windsor Castle, while in Gaza a genocide is unfolding.

He alone can stop the assault on Gaza City, end the aid blockade and secure the release of hostages - Keir Starmer must make that clear to him before this visit ends.

MSF urges countries to receive patients trapped in Gaza so they can access the specialized treatment they need.

We also call on the Israeli authorities to lift the siege on Gaza, allow life-saving aid in, and facilitate medical evacuations with guarantees of a voluntary return.

Since Oct. 7, 2023, only 40 patients from Gaza have been able to reach our hospital in Jordan. Meanwhile, WHO reports over 15,800 people urgently needing medical evacuations for specialised care that is unavailable in Gaza.

On Sept. 10, eight children aged 5 to 16 were medically evacuated from #Gaza to MSF’s reconstructive surgery hospital in #Jordan, in coordination with the Jordanian Ministry of Health. One child was hurt while still recovering from fractures sustained in an earlier strike.

Medical facilities should be protected spaces, however, these protections have been dramatically eroded in #Ukraine.

Despite the repeated condemnations of these attacks, Russian forces continue to bomb hospitals and densely residential areas with drones, shells and missiles.
