I showed up to a movie theater one night and I looked at the posters and I just picked a movie
And I chose Wind River
And oh my god holy shit. Walking into that thing having no idea what I was about to watch

Absolutely excellent film
The Trump playbook is pretty established by now. Carney does it well. Mamdani does it well. Hollow praise is all the man needs and he’s not self-aware enough to realize it.

I think I got the point of Eddington. It is noncommittal and aloof on many topics and uses the pervasive influence of big tech aka the datacenter to cast all the plot lemmings in their various directions with fervent conviction. But as a fan of being entertained I didn’t enjoy that film much at all.
