Ex-Twitter. Once FCDO, now happily retired. Dual Brit/French, & I'm quite happy to be both or just one of them according to circumstances! Geordie born & bred, so there is only NUFC. Otherwise, foreign & current affairs as well as general political stuff

It takes a special kind of right-wing British political party to literally sell black shirts.

Are you going to tell them?

Or shall I?

Who's showing what, when and for how much? I'm losing track now, never mind what's going to happen in the future. Why not just make the incremental cost completely unfathomable.

Having Johnson & Cummings in Downing Street when Covid struck was, just like Brexit, an entirely avoidable disaster caused largely by utterly appalling journalism. And now exactly the same clowns, arses & bigots with bylines are rolling out the red carpet for Farage.

Conservative Shadow Culture Secretary Nigel Huddleston tells GB News that the BBC should "grovel" to Trump.

Amazing how many British 'patriots' are spending their time telling our national broadcaster to prostrate itself before a hostile foreign leader

“earnings over £125,140”

I know many pensioners are asset rich but how many have income at that level?

Can you not see this for the racist, scapegoating, big lying attack on immigrants that it is?
