An Anthropologist's perspecive on Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age after finishing it:
Excluding humans is rewriting the Ice Age as a "Pristine world free of humans." This is damaging and simply incorrect. There are millennia of Indigenous interactions between humans and other species all erased here.

The hype is real. This two hour long doc about extreme birdwatching is an absolute delight, and nothing less than a soothing balm in horrible times.

The makers have put the whole thing up on YouTube, for free with no ads, and all of you should watch it right now.

For real, Sir Starmer, what are trans, intersex, gender non-conforming, or even just kinda weird-looking people supposed to do? How about we just accept that trans women are women, rather than policing what kinds of bodies are allowed to exist in public?
