I will be damned if I allow a bunch of Confederate-waving January 6th apologists give the American people a lecture on flag waving.

There is ZERO reason to enter an argument about patriotism with people who still worship traitors to America 150+ years later.

They. Are. Breaking. The. Law.

While it is understandable to focus attention on Trump’s attacks on democracy and the rule of law, we must not lose sight of the fact that it is the Republican Congress enabling his authoritarianism. Ignoring their complicity in Trump’s actions is a mistake—both legally and strategically.

They were wrong to flip only after it was popular! Just as it was wrong to support the Iraq war on its popularity.

The most beloved historical figures in politics had conviction even when it wasn't popular.

Never forget MLK died the most hated man in America. Would that our Dems had his strength.
How was the marriage equality fight won?

Was it with bold leadership from Barack Obama and Harry Reid? Obviously not! They flip-flopped only after the cause became popular. If you want to shift opinion, study the people who succeed at it — normally not politicians at all.

JD Vance broke the National Championship trophy, then visited the Pope who died the next day, then visited India and a terrorist attack happened and war broke out, then endorsed his brother for mayor who lost 83-11%.

What’s next on the agenda?

The plots of disaster movies that portray the end of civilization often begin with high-level Government Officials ignoring the warnings of Scientists.

One of several lesson learned from the 2.5 hour @Netflix Documentary — Don’t Look Up (2021).

I guess Elon Musk can't buy every election.

Congratulations to Wisconsin, a state that continues to impress with their legislative and judicial election results.

Also, fun fact: No one wants to buy something from a store surrounded by police while a crowd on the other side of their line expresses their rage.
Today I saw a high level of anger at the massive number of cops that are protecting a Tesla dealership in Chicago. Lots of chants demanding to know why they are protecting Nazis. No one is letting CPD off the hook. This is what cops do - enable and participate in fascism. #Teslatakedown.
