Sharing some encouraging news re: CDC PRAMS. The CDC has indicated they will weight and clean the 2024 PRAMS data. Also, the PRAMS data collection system (PIDS) is up and running again and some sites have begun 2025 PRAMS data collection. Hopefully restoration of the ARF portal is coming soon too.

A more comprehensive list of terminated NIH grants that doesn't rely only on those reported on HHS TAGGS but also from affected PIs and other sources. Thank you
@scott-delaney.bsky.social and team! #lostscience
Major update over the weekend to our spreadsheet tracking terminated NIH grants. 👇

Improvements include:
- more grant metadata, including Congressional reps and their phone numbers
- data from more sources to complement PI-submitted information
- better data integrity and reproducibility

Interested in what NIH grants have been cancelled to date? You can see award numbers, institutions and titles here. Not sure how often this list is being updated but seems to reflect only those that have received "official" notices from NIH (some of us haven't yet) taggs.hhs.gov/Content/Data...

We are the world’s laboratory. It’s not even close.
If the NIH gets messed up, there is no alternative. Not just in the US, but globally. It is by far the biggest engine of health research in the world. Which is why the idea that US scientists can just do their work elsewhere is a little fanciful.
