I'm genuinely blown away by Mamdani's speech from last night. His delivery was authentic, reasoned, and human. His focus deliberately remained on "we" and "you" and "NYC" rather than "I" or "me." When he did talk about himself, it was in the context of connections with others and service to others.

The lesson of history is that tyrants cannot be appeased.
