Still find it amazing how on a whim last year I booked an archery class and now I regularly go to practice with my own bow.
I don't feel like it has changed my life drastically, but it has changed it for the better!

More context on the skewered elf, last night was our Christmas Social at the range.
First part was solving a murder mystery by shooting clues, the second part was shooting the "bad" elves for fun.
Let me tell you these guys cause a lot of bounce outs for lower poundage bows! 😂

Pretty much all the remains is the clearing out of stuff.
Still weird how it has all worked out. Never had so many minor illnesses in a year before.

It wouldn't be the holidays without me getting some horrible ailment. This time a nasty sinus infection.
Non-zero chance I might need to go to a hospital/urgent care just to get antibiotics because can't get an appointment at the Dr's and pharmacists can't prescribe them.

What I'm gathering is that people like the half frames more (I haven't done half frames in a long while so maybe it's time!)

At the very least I know there are no more competitions for me this calendar year.
I can work out my nerves and build that consistency for the winter league and the upcoming registered tournaments.

Another look at today's odd score.
A tale of inconsistency. It's like for one arrow out of three I just could not keep it together at all.
I don't get it when less than a month ago I put two scores in the 240's and a score in the 230's during an actual competition.

Only a 205 today. My top 6 average of 231.67 will stand.
If I end up coming short in the league it will be because I couldn't keep my head together.
Today I'd put a top arrow for an end no lower than a 7, 2nd no lower than a 6 then the last would be in the outlands.
No misses but still.

Today was new outfit for archery day.
If I shot on Monday like I did today I would have had a great score! Oh well this just bodes well for next week I think.

I need to start doing core exercises. Not to lose weight mind you, at least that is not the goal.
