Delighted my book, Pardon Me for Moonwalking (Unsolicited Press) is featured, along with a writing prompt I was invited to put together. I'm grateful to @jamestatehill.bsky.social and AWP.
The days are shorter, which means it’s the perfect time to cozy up with the December issue of THE WRITER’S CHRONICLE! Curl up and read about marketing poetry, the present and future of narrative medicine, how humor works in prose, and more!

Wife was on GoodReads recently & said one reader of Blind Man's Bluff reported that although my memoir was not the book about Cold War submarines they were expecting, my book was still okay.

Lord, the relief and joy of realizing you're going to write the book you most want to write, regardless of its commercial prospects.

Alice Wong was one of the most effective people challenging the Whiteness of disability communities and its many flaws, but who believed fiercely in us as a community, in disabled people as oracles.

Alice brought so much to so many of us, it’s hard to measure the kind of gratitude I have for that.

If by disability narratives you mean stories about the body and/or the mind, which all of us possess, then yes, I believe disability narratives are for everyone.

Went to movies Sat & asked for audio description headset & kids working had no idea what I was talking about. Manager confirmed that theater has no accessibility devices. Went to national chain theater. First device didn't work. Exited movie to get replacement device. It partially worked. It's 2025.

Friends lately have been assuring me good things are going to happen & I'm not sure if this is because they're correct, because I've surrounded myself with optimists, or because I'm clearly so pessimistic that they can tell I need to hear something positive.
