The demo version of Mario Kart: Double Dash contains an unused Game Over screen. Notably, the smoke graphics used here are humorously called "smork" internally. It is unknown if this is a legitimate misspelling of "smoke" or if the word was deliberately spelled in a funny way.

Masahiro Sakurai has taken to X to celebrate Sora Co., Ltd. is celebrating its 20th anniversary and he also gave a small update on the upcoming Kirby Air Riders. Sakurai says that he hopes to share some gameplay footage of the long-awaited Kirby Air Riders soon. How soon remains to be seen, but it's likely to be showcased during a Nintendo Direct presentation.

More details have emerged regarding the long-awaited live action The Legend of Zelda movie. The film is apparently being filmed in beautiful New Zealand and the start date for the filming is November 2025. There’s more though, as the film is rumoured to be a trilogy. Nintendo announced Friday that the Zelda movie will be released in theatres, March 2027. Via

One part of the Nintendo Switch 2 that hasn't received a lot of attention is the mouse functionality. It was heavily rumored that the Joy-Cons would have this feature, and when Nintendo actually revealed the Switch 2 last month, they did imply that the rumors were true. That said, we still don't fully understand how the feature will work. Well, thanks to some new Nintendo patents, that may not be the case anymore.
