Thrilled to get my contributor’s copy of this brilliant edited collection. My chapter analyses online racist (anti-)fan cultures’ toxic conspiracies of ‘blackwashing’ directed at Black actors cast in Western screen media, which perpetuates white victimhood.

Thrilled to get my contributor’s copy of The Nightmare Before Christmas edited collection. I wrote about three of my favourite things: horror, media audiences… and food!

382 films watched in 2024. A new high score for me. Highlights were watching Black Christmas on the big screen, revisiting Bong Joon-Ho’s body of work, and Perfect Days.
