Is it really called splatting #dataBS?

"You can roll your own “parabolic peak‐centering” in pure NumPy/SciPy by fitting a little parabola to each FFT‐bin peak and then splatting its energy fractionally into the two nearest semitone bins"

How have these people never heard of stop words? Why aren't they stripping them if it costs millions?

How many times a day do you need to remind yourself that time in the market is better than timing the market?

Obviously, right? Make people have to ask for help and they'll just buy it from Amazon.

You know how to improve air quality? Give a tax break to corporations based on the percentage of employees working from home full time.
Fare-free transit is not an environmental policy. The reason is simple: It doesn't reduce driving.

"We find no evidence that low-cost or free-of-charge public transportation financing schemes have improved air quality."

I appreciate all of you who use the Alt-text description for the images you post. As a blind dude I feel so much more included here.

For those of you who forget:
Did you know there’s a reminder in Settings/Accessibility to toggle on & then it won’t let you post image without Alt-text.

Thanks 🙏😎

I see a lot of people doom posting so I'm going to share a tip that's gotten me through some tough times:
