Even with the randomized crossworld laps, it got really repetitive. Plus you can’t just exit out of a match when the track gets picked because you can get temporarily banned from online for quitting matches mid-game too often.

The problem is that so many people are picking the new DLC course that you will basically never play any other race tracks. Last night, I managed to get two non-Bikini Bottom races, but then proceeded to get the Bikini Bottom race track for every single race for the remainder of the night.

Not sure if it’s universal between regions, but Fanatical has the game at a 15% discount. I pre-ordered the game from them because of that discount.

My final project deadline just got delayed so I had time to play this. Titans of the Tide is up next.

The most recent SpongeBob thing I consumed was that one episode “A Fish Called Sandy” that got leaked early and went viral for having a very similar look and feel as the classic Hillenburg era episodes. Was a good episode, but from what I’ve seen, that was the exception rather than the rule.

3. Although the ban was expected to be announced by the health minister, the far-right NZ First party preempted the rollout, declaring it a victory in the “war on woke” and making clear that the decision was a political concession rather than a medically grounded one.

Puberty Blockers Banned For Children
After years of dangerous ideological experimentation pushed by radical activists and rubber-stamped by weak politicians, the New Zealand Government has officially banned puberty blockers for children.

That’s not to say I dislike the linear SpongeBob platformers, many of them are great fun, but I personally find it a little disappointing that none of the follow ups to BFBB over the years have attempted to build off of it’s loose and open ended structure, which was part of why I loved it so much.

Thanks for the thorough reporting. I’m sure I’ll like the game when I play it. I’ve been impressed with what I’ve seen of the game so far, but I’m ngl, I do sort of wish for another proper collectathon SpongeBob game like BFBB. Collectathons are such a rare breed these days.

Obviously you saw my post about being unable to play it just yet. I’m curious, is the game structured like a linear platformer (like The Cosmic Shake) or is it more open like with BFBB?
