So since Lego has just been selling minifigs of the core Sonic cast over and over again with their sets, I have turned to the toy store in my hometown which makes custom minifigs to save the day and give Big the Cat the Lego treatment he deserves.

I'm so pissed. Everyone's saying that the new Vince Gilligan show Pluribus is amazing, but I literally don't have the time to watch it right now because I have like three assignments due next week 😭

I just realized. The Crossover characters in Sonic Racing get music tracks from their franchise added to the jukebox. SpongeBob is (presumably) up next.

Photorealistic mods for cartoonish games can be neat, but I feel like it feeds into the whole narrative that photorealism results in a better game, which is why AAA games take so long to make and are packed with unnecessary details (like the realistic horse testicles in Red Dead Redemption 2)

Now is as good a time as any to announce. I am in a University primarily theory course about gaming, but my final project is to make a game. Nothing fancy, it's in this simple HTML engine called Bitsy that even a simpleton like me can understand. Expect it by late November or early December.

Then again, they probably didn't want to make Knuckles green since that would risk invoking the wrath of Ken Penders who I'm sure is convinced that Green Knuckles is a legally distinct character that he owns the exclusive rights to.

An irl friend of mine had this exact same thing happen to him while we were in the middle of a COD Zombies session back in February, and he spent the rest of his evening playing like this.

So apparently the same guy who made the excellent Super Mario Bros remake also released a Super Mario World remake earlier this year and AFAIK, it just kinda flew under the radar. This one seems to have a multiplayer mode similar to the New Super Mario Bros series.

Forgot to post this, but my Blu-ray copy of the long lost director’s cut of Captain America (1990) arrived in the mail the other day. It’s still a bit unfinished in some areas such as sound mixing, but I think that the fact this survived at all and is now out there for the world to see is so cool.

I’m really liking Alien Earth so far. I was super apprehensive when they announced the show’s earth setting given that so much of the original Alien films is about Ripley trying to prevent the Aliens from being brought to Earth by Weyland-Yutani. However, it’s handled quite well imo.
