It’s pretty crazy how KPDH has reached Frozen levels of popularity at this point. Even before it blew up, some have started to compare Rumi and Elsa, both in terms of their struggles and how they learned to break free from them. It’s very fascinating.

I was able to pick up some new Blu-Rays in the past couple weeks. One of them is a solid Sci-fi adventure that deserved a lot better than what it had gotten, and the other is my favorite animated film this year so far, besides KPDH.

These girls are relentlessly strong and supportive of each other. They don’t deserve to be pawns by the animation community to push their A.I. generated agenda of animation studio wars.

This is along with a few others like IF, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Smurfs: The Lost Village, and Looney Tunes: BIA. Not a bad score, but the reception was pretty weak. I still like it because of its wacky and absurd nature.
