DEI is being abandoned because corporations believe there is no longer any chance of minorities or LGBT people winning any significant discrimination lawsuits in our current legal framework and court system
DEI only exist(-ed) to avoid bad press and lawsuits.

What's frustrating is these men keep holding themselves out as defenders of science, but they can't give a good faith hearing to the actual doctors and researchers who have been working on trans healthcare for decades now.
