This is exceptionally well reported: in case after case Trump has surrendered long time US interests to favor Russia and gained nothing in return. When you put it all together it a staggering surrender.

I sent out this piece yesterday. Trump's final plan is basically Russia's plan, which would legitimize Russian conquests and provide Russia the best possible situation in which to rebuild its military--while giving Ukraine nothing. Europe needs to stand with Ukraine now.
OK, sent out this free piece on the details of the Trump "final" plan for Ukraine that has been seen by Axios. The 5 points have basically been dictated by Putin. They set up a process which would allow Russia to expand into all of its neighbors.

I sent out this piece yesterday. Trump's final plan is basically Russia's plan, which would legitimize Russian conquests and provide Russia the best possible situation in which to rebuild its military--while giving Ukraine nothing. Europe needs to stand with Ukraine now.

Main issue isn't Hegseth's remarks (after all, Biden & Jake also nixed both 🇺🇦 in NATO & NATO in 🇺🇦). The much bigger problem is Trump's apparent readiness even eagerness to throw 🇺🇦 under the bus. Feels like it may be Sudeten time again in Munich. Can Europe act: yes. Will it act? I don't know

1. On NATO- Fair & clear that this was coming. Not the end of NATO but end of European free riding. Of course US not primarily focused on European security.
