The more I pay attention to transitional lumbosacral anatomy (specifically analyzed in all my L-spine reports), the more I find clinically significant implications. Lumbarized S1 w/ last well-formed disc space S1-2. How many fractures can you find?

Different vertebral fractures need different approaches: kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, mechanical augmentation, and sometimes nothing. Important to know how and when to use each method.
