This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source.

Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

I don’t think we should kill anybody if we can rehabilitate or detain them. That’s a permanent response to an indefinable cosmic justice or personal intuition about universal justice, no way that’s justifiable. But that doesn’t mean Netanyahu doesn’t deserve to die.

MI and Bond crossover where Daniel Craig’s Bond is weary of life and sick of this shit while Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt is so puppy happy to be doing another mission, constantly smiling or being deadly earnest. And they have to pair up to bring down a space cartel or whatever

As a person who is particularly impulsive and seemingly incapable of self-regulation, seems bad that there is literally no person or institution in government that can check Trump

Most women I know would rather have this than spiders
The police in Los Angeles arrested a man who had been living under the home of a 92-year-old woman. She had assumed that the strange noises inside her house were caused by animals.

I would LOVE to have the peace of blissful ignorance but as an historian I am burdened with the knowledge of the gods in understanding that all this has already happened before. I weep as I write this and I hope you can follow along (although for your sake it's probably better if you can't) 🧵1/287

One reason politics so easily separates family members is simply a matter of time investment. If you’re genuinely into it and are constantly spending time watching or reading whatever that supports your worldview, you end up spending hundreds of times more time with that than you do with family.

The right does a lot of “we’re not them” like Dems do but there’s just something more honest about them. They lie about the usual things but they can’t hide who they are. They don’t want to hide it. Dems walk around smug yet ashamed.
