@frooxius.bsky.social just added a super neat feature to @resonite.com - renderer decoupling! Now when Resonite lags... it doesn't!

I've taken a few days break from my usual projects on @resonite.com and decided to work a bit on my personal avatar. Or more precisely my avatar's smart glasses. Behold!

TheAutopilot was messing with Resonite's new spatial variables earlier and quickly threw together a prototype of a gravity system using spatial variables to define a gravity "zone". Needless to say, this is *very* fun to play with!

I've been on a small weekend vacation with my family and decided this was a good time to try something new and fun, so I finally dipped my toes into Godot! Behold, my first little prototype of a space flight game!

Resonite's new spatial variables can represent a range of values, not just a single discrete value. This means sampling the same variable at different points can return different values. When making use of this for vectors, you can create vector fields!

@frooxius.bsky.social is adding spatial variables to @resonite.com, a new feature currently in pre-release testing. It allows sampling values at points in space, interpolating them and using them for pretty much anything. We're still only starting to wrap our heads around what this can be used for!

Finally found some time to work on my avatar on @resonite.com, but the new outfit left me with a challenge to solve: where to put the glasses when I'm not wearing them? I think I found a pretty neat solution.
Presenting: the Portal Pocket™!

(Outfit made by @khailchips.bsky.social, check him out!)

Wanted to share a WIP of my "Christmas side project". Had this idea that didn't let me go during the holidays and began to implement it on @resonite.com, then got lots of math help from friends! I'm proud of the thruster effects. My plan is to turn this into a small multiplayer space combat game!
