Racism in the US. I keep hoping and working for better. Are we getting better? I don't know, honestly. Racism and institutional racism are so inbred into our society. Rooting it out seems to be a forever challange.

It's because those of us who felt broken inside now have a term for that feeling and a way to fix it. There is nothing as heartwarming as feeling like a whole, complete, worthwhile person

Best book of the year for me. I read over 190 books so far this year, and I think this book really does hit a brilliant, magnificent level. It is creepy and smart. It also reflects life back to us, similar to 1984 or Handmaid's Tale. I've been recommending to everyone.

I am so sad and scared right now. I was awake at 3 am, still alone. My husband is so very ill from sepsis and C diff, and I almost lost him. He is in the hospital getting care to save his life, while I, with the help of my family, am trying to keep body and soul...and house together. I love him.

Looking at the words I've used most in 2025, I understand why I used the ones I have, though maybe I need to stop Doom posting. But the one word that has me stumped is 'puberininth'. What the hell is that word, and why did I use it 17 times! 🤔

It is hard to explain to people that - I knew I was a gay man long before I knew I was a man. 🏳️⚧️. It makes sense to me, and strangely, my 85 year old mother. Others are often quite baffled. Being a gay man nessitates being a man, yes? Well, yes. But not understanding you're trans can be confusing
