Here’s the entire diorama. It started as an attempt to improve my technique in blending and highlighting skin tones. Once I finished the orc figure, I thought it would look nice set in a tropical rain forest diorama, with the orc as a hunter.

Had dinner once with Gunnar Hansen, the actor who played Leatherface in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

My wife was working for the company publishing his book, Islands at the Edge of Time; A Journey to America's Barrier Islands. He was the nicest guy and utterly unlike his character in the movie.
