The last book I read for #100SmallPressBooks2025 was No Offense: A Memoir In Essays by @jackiedwrites.bsky.social (ELJ Editions). It digs into their life as a queer person today, the travails of planning a wedding or buying a car illustrating awkward and sometimes directly hostile interactions.

Really not grasping the bad reviews and complaints about lack of plot for the new season of The Bear. When the acting is this good and the characters are this endearing, I will watch 900 hours of character development and dialogue and never get bored.

Well, I sent the email. "There's No Future Where We Don't Have Fire" now needs a new home. I'd hoped things would right themselves but I don't feel confident I'd receive the support the book deserves. First submitted it to places in 2019. Then ELJ Editions took it. And now it's back out there. Sigh.
