I play games and know things.

Sometimes I stream: https://www.twitch.tv/jackiedaytonanhb

I also make things: www.crowforged.etsy.com
That's a great little chunk, and it looks like the flash is dead center.

I hated buying labradorite, it was either overpriced for such a soft stone or you get it from bulk sellers who don't orient the stone properly.

Which is obnoxious, because windowing and proper layout only takes a few minutes.

Okay, but his cover of Rocket Man was a beautiful idea with terrible execution.

I watch it a few times per year and it just baffles the hell out of me.

I wasn't around for that, or at least not paying that much attention to the Dev stuff at the time.

I might have to go find that. The Hex are ridiculously easy to get along with.

It's entirely useless for me, I don't even know how to activate it and I'm not sure why it automatically got permission for my phone's mic.

But it pops up randomly and all it ever catches is me cursing like I'm Spider Jerusalem before I close it.

I think my favorite of the Bob's Burgers Christmas episodes is the two parter "The Bleakening" but goddamn is that a good one too.

Sword of Vermillion was one of the worst RPGs ever created.

But as a kid I loved it so much. I think the "complicated" structure (top down random encounters, first person navigation, side-scrolling boss fights) was mostly what I loved.

Downloaded the ROM once and the nostalgia was dead on arrival.

I had to go look that up.

It was a HALF orc baddie.

I vaguely recall sneaking on a rafter in the intro but neither game made much of an impression on me good or bad.

I beat this and remember almost nothing about the plot or gameplay. I do not remember a single thing about it. Gameplay, plot, nothing but I put like 50 hours in.

I played the second one which was a super mid action RPG with an okay crafting system and I think there was an orc baddie involved.

I still need to get the DLCs. I bought the base game, let it sit for awhile, and then finished it in one sitting.

Absolutely worth it.

Yeah, that's definitely understandable.

For a fairly casual survival game it already started out fairly difficult and they ramped it up directly to counter creative thinking.

I haven't played in a few years tbh, the change to live action monetization with little new content killed DST for me.

Thanks for pointing that out.

I kind of uncritically looked at it and didn't question it since I've seen the OG video and definitely seen plenty of crows do weird playful stuff in real life.

The lack of snow movement and take-off at the end should have given it away.

Yeah, Don't Starve is kind of odd like that.

What really gets me is I play it for the overall style and adjusting to their changes is only ever a minor inconvenience for veteran survival players so it effectively does nothing but make it less accessible to new players.

Roleplaying True Foodperson was my longest run ever. >80 hours played.

Then I kicked in a lab door looking for Alpha serum. The mask doesn't do well against a point blank burst of 5.56.

I die like that a lot if I get established, I never learn that lesson.

It'd be great in PZ though.

But Foodperson was removed!

That actually looks really good, I think my last two runs were with Brightest Nights.

I favorited it for a future where Warframe no longer owns my soul.

CDDA spotted in the wild.

To be fair, I quit playing as much as I used to due to some of the "realism" changes.

Because a lot of it has been "nerf the fuck out of everything fun" starting around the time of the pockets update.

But it's good for a couple of games every few months.

I'm 6' and ~155 pounds at the moment.

If it's head isn't over my waist or it isn't approaching my weight... that ain't a Big Dog (TM).

I'll make allowances for dogs over 90-100 pounds but people tend to describe those as "massive" which doesn't ring true.

My opinion on cat size is probably terrible as well. I had multiple 15-20 pound cats growing up, had a 30 pound cat before Tad, and one of my ex's cats was 25 pounds or so.

Tad, on the other hand, still looks like a kitten to me at a healthy 12 pounds and he's the second biggest cat here.

If you're going to do something... do it well.

Eventually I got into a bad bike accident, tried to drink it off, ended up in the hospital for a bit(internal bleeding and vodka aren't a good mix) and got into a (non-physical) fight with a landlord.

So I gave 'em my two weeks and showed up.

I made roughly 400% of what I made there in my off-hours writing so I really wasn't concerned about screwing up at work and getting fired.

And I was effective at what I was primarily hired to do and turned down two promotions while I was there because fuck losing money for more work.
