I hated buying labradorite, it was either overpriced for such a soft stone or you get it from bulk sellers who don't orient the stone properly.
Which is obnoxious, because windowing and proper layout only takes a few minutes.

I watch it a few times per year and it just baffles the hell out of me.

I might have to go find that. The Hex are ridiculously easy to get along with.

But it pops up randomly and all it ever catches is me cursing like I'm Spider Jerusalem before I close it.

But as a kid I loved it so much. I think the "complicated" structure (top down random encounters, first person navigation, side-scrolling boss fights) was mostly what I loved.
Downloaded the ROM once and the nostalgia was dead on arrival.

It was a HALF orc baddie.
I vaguely recall sneaking on a rafter in the intro but neither game made much of an impression on me good or bad.

I played the second one which was a super mid action RPG with an okay crafting system and I think there was an orc baddie involved.

Absolutely worth it.

For a fairly casual survival game it already started out fairly difficult and they ramped it up directly to counter creative thinking.
I haven't played in a few years tbh, the change to live action monetization with little new content killed DST for me.

I kind of uncritically looked at it and didn't question it since I've seen the OG video and definitely seen plenty of crows do weird playful stuff in real life.
The lack of snow movement and take-off at the end should have given it away.

What really gets me is I play it for the overall style and adjusting to their changes is only ever a minor inconvenience for veteran survival players so it effectively does nothing but make it less accessible to new players.

Then I kicked in a lab door looking for Alpha serum. The mask doesn't do well against a point blank burst of 5.56.
I die like that a lot if I get established, I never learn that lesson.
It'd be great in PZ though.

That actually looks really good, I think my last two runs were with Brightest Nights.
I favorited it for a future where Warframe no longer owns my soul.

To be fair, I quit playing as much as I used to due to some of the "realism" changes.
Because a lot of it has been "nerf the fuck out of everything fun" starting around the time of the pockets update.
But it's good for a couple of games every few months.

If it's head isn't over my waist or it isn't approaching my weight... that ain't a Big Dog (TM).
I'll make allowances for dogs over 90-100 pounds but people tend to describe those as "massive" which doesn't ring true.

Tad, on the other hand, still looks like a kitten to me at a healthy 12 pounds and he's the second biggest cat here.

Eventually I got into a bad bike accident, tried to drink it off, ended up in the hospital for a bit(internal bleeding and vodka aren't a good mix) and got into a (non-physical) fight with a landlord.
So I gave 'em my two weeks and showed up.

And I was effective at what I was primarily hired to do and turned down two promotions while I was there because fuck losing money for more work.
