If this offsets it any way, my happiness trajectory in the last three years has been near identical and I too feel like I'm on the verge of some good things ahead. Obviously quite different as far as specific circumstances go, but your stuff has always given me a lot of hope.

I think it’s only this noticeable because the show’s core source of comedy was these characters routinely interacting with each other and their respective plots gracefully weaving together. Them being by themselves or in factions for extended periods of time just doesn’t work for me.

Twin Peaks: The Return literally made characters whose actors have died central focuses of the season and somehow handled it better. The only one I can think of that didn’t sit right was Truman but it handled writing around absences a lot better overall.

Ironically, Kratos and Brad have completely opposite character arcs.
