The sad truth is that we've had examples of lives lived based on love for their fellow (wo)man and respect for the planet and all the life on it for hundreds of years.

The problem I have with the otherwise good advice to keep protests peaceful is that the Trump regime is already lying about peaceful protests, calling them violent and a danger to those Gestapo agents. They'll make sure their news outlets portray them as such, and Ma and Pa Kettle will believe them.

I think it’s entirely possible that the military takes our side against someone ordering them to commit crimes. No one in the military is a billionaire. They have far more in common with us than them. And this regime has stolen a lot of money meant to support the troops.

I'm spending all of today mentally preparing myself for tomorrow morning's prostate biopsy results by meditating, eating well, and relaxing with the dogs.
I'm rarely anxious to a high degree, but tomorrow may push my level higher than usual.
I wonder how others deal with this. I'm not unique.
